Accommodation
The Pre-ISFC2008 Winter Institute coincides with the World Youth Day which is expected to attract 250,000 pilgrims from round the world to the central district of Sydney. Many accommodations have already been reserved by WYD more than one year in advance.
Participants to the Institute are thus kindly advised to make their booking at their earliest opportunity to avoid disappointment. We hope to be able to provide further accommodation information in due course.
The 35th International Systemic Functional Congress to be held at Macquarie University lists accommodation in North Ryde, near the university on their website. Macquarie University is located approximately a one-hour bus ride from UNSW; a 40-minutes bus ride to the Sydney City centre and another 20-30-minute bus ride from the city centre to Kensington where UNSW is located.
